GTE Targets Russian Industrial Turbines Market with New Subsidiary.

LONDON -- Gas Turbine Efficiency plc ("GTE" or "the Company"), a leading supplier of advanced high pressure gas turbine cleaning systems for the aviation and power generation industries, announces that it has today commenced operations in Russia with the launch of a subsidiary based in St Petersburg.

The subsidiary, Gas Turbine Efficiency Russia LLC, is spearheaded by Valery Trenin, Sales and Marketing Director CIS, and will address the region's large and growing installed user base of industrial turbines deployed in the power generation and oil and gas segments. It is estimated that Russia alone has an installed base exceeding 4000 industrial turbines.

Trenin brings over 30 years of experience in the industrial turbines market, turnkey power project management and extensive knowledge of the Russian market. He has previously served in senior roles at several major original equipment manufacturers including head of supply at Siemens DDIT, supply manager at Alstom, and chief of supply department, ABB Power Generation.
