GTE Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Nama for UAE.

Appointment of one of UAE's leading business groups is part of GTE's global expansion and follows the first order won in the Middle East from Abu Dhabi 

LONDON -- Gas Turbine Efficiency plc (LSE:GTE) ("GTE" or "the Company"), a leading supplier of advanced high pressure gas turbine cleaning systems for the aviation and power generation industries, announces that it has appointed Nama Development Enterprises as its exclusive distributor for United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The agreement is part of GTE's expansion strategy to establish a presence in key growth markets worldwide and represents the first significant move into the Middle East, which is experiencing strong infrastructure and industrial sector investment.

Nama's appointment follows GTE's expansion into the large Russian market, announced on 2 October 2006, where it has set up a subsidiary in St Petersburg to address the country's estimated installed base exceeding 4,000 industrial turbines.

Nama is a leading UAE business services company and will market GTE's wash systems to industrial power generation and oil & gas industry turbine operators in the UAE. GTE's first order in the region was won through Rolls-Royce Energy/Nama from the Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company and referred to in the interim results on 29 September 2006.
