GST Internet Enters the EDI Market Through LightYear Resources Acquisition.

: GST) GST Internet, Inc., a subsidiary of GST Telecommunications, Inc., announced today that it has acquired the use of Electronic Data Interchange See EDI.

GST Internet is expanding its full Internet and World Wide Web services by incorporating LYR's 12-year leadership and experience in the EDI/Electronic Commerce market. GST's EDI service allows companies to conduct electronic transactions via the Internet without the need for additional infrastructure. Since GST integrates EDI technology within the Internet, the technology becomes transparent to the end-user. GST Internet offers the market a single-source solution through the hardware, software, customer support and Electronic Commerce services. Companies will save valuable time and resources by conducting business through the Internet.

Director of Electronic Commerce Bill Bugbee said, "GST Internet will become the one-stop solution for business communications, by combining EDI with Electronic Commerce services, resulting in new and efficient ways to transact business over the Internet."
