GSB celebrates 50th birthday.

To help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's founding, the GSB team has designed a Healthy, Happy and Safe Employee Program. Every month this year, employees will have the opportunity to take part in these programs which emphasize the importance of health and safety in the workplace and home. This includes "Stop Smoking," "Weight Control and Nutrition," and "Safety" programs.

"We're all extremely proud to have reached this milestone," said David Moore, Chairman/CEO of GSB. "We attribute our longevity to the loyalty and commitment of our employees and, of course, our customers who have supported us throughout the years. We look forward to the next fifty years."

Over the years, the name Garden State Brickface has almost become synonymous with New Jersey. Those who grew up in New Jersey in the seventies and eighties are almost certain to have seen a GSB commercial. Pop culture has embraced the company and it has been featured in a number of films and television shows, including Can't Buy Me Love and City of Hope. GSB has also done work on movie sets and celebrity homes, including the homes of Derrick Coleman, Joe Frazier, Ivana Trump, I.M. Pei and Oleg Cassini and movie sets for Eraser, Broadway Danny Rose and Two Bits with Al Pacino.

) selected Garden State Brickface, New Jersey's premier remodeling agency, as a regional winner in the Contractor of the Year Awards competition and they were named to the 2002 Top 500 (#30) by Qualified Remodeler Magazine.

"Winning the award from NARI was a great honor," said Cindy Lukas, president and COO of GSB. "To be recognized as a regional leader on a national scale is a very prestigious honor."
