 retail chain, bought the remaining 85% of Texas-based CompUSA CompUSA, Inc. is a retailer and reseller of consumer electronics, technology products and computer services. CompUSA serves consumer retail, small-to-medium businesses, corporate, government and education customers.  for US$800 million. Marco Antonio Slim Domit, Grupo Sanborn's chairman and the son of Mexico magnate Carlos Slim Helu, engineered the deal. It is the first time that a Mexican company will own a national U.S. retail chain.
