 GRUMMAN EMPLOYEES TO RECEIVE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
 On Monday, April 13, at 9:30 a.m., General Merrill A. McPeak, U.S. Air Force chief of staff, will present Air Medals to 17 civilians for distinguished service in flying aboard the two Joint STARS aircraft during Operation Desert Storm last year.
 The 17 recipients -- 10 from Grumman Corporation, four from Norden Systems, Inc., two from PAR Technology Corporation, and one from The MITRE Corporation -- are the only civilians receiving the Air Medal for Operation Desert Storm. Thirty-one military personnel will also receive Air Medals at the ceremony. All recipients were members of the 4411th Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System Squadron in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
 The ceremony will be held at Grumman, 2000 NASA Blvd., Melbourne, Fla., at 9:30 a.m.; the general will arrive at 9 a.m. The press is asked to arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.
