GROUP TO PERFORM FREE SHOW AT THE MASTER'S.

Byline: Daily News

Majesty, a 10-member musical ensemble from The Master's College, will present a free concert at the college at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the recital hall.

The performance will feature selections from the group's albums, including ``Majesty Live,'' ``The Master's Music'' and the most recent recording, ``A Mighty Fortress.''

The ensemble, composed of full-time students at The Master's, travels the West Coast during the school year. During the summer, members tour the United States and various foreign countries. Past tours include Italy, Spain, England, Israel and the former Soviet Union. They will tour parts of Canada with The Master's Chorale in May 1999 and then tour Ireland in June.

In addition to many on-campus events, Majesty sings in churches and high schools, at youth rallies and banquets, for service clubs and civic groups. The director of the group is Paul T. Plew, chairman of the music department.

The ensemble is made up of students from the Santa Clarita Valley, including Ben Breit, Jill Mackey and Ryan Anthony, and students from Michigan, Oklahoma, Idaho, Washington and other parts of California.

The recital hall is in the New Academic Center on the Placerita Canyon campus. For information, call (805) 259-3540.
