GROUNDBREAKING SET FOR STABLES RESTAURANT AND HALL OF FAME GRILLE
WHO: Robert Corna, architect/developer and Emil Kokolari,
 chef manager.
WHAT: Groundbreaking ceremony for the Stables Restaurant and
 Hall of Fame Grille.
 WHEN: July 27 at noon.
WHERE: 2317 13th St. NW, Canton, Ohio - at the Rt. 77 exit,
next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
WHY: To disseminate information about the development of the
Stables site into a restaurant and sports bar facility
Architect/developer Robert Corna and chef manager Emil Kokolari will break ground on the project to transform the former Timken Stables into a 400-seat restaurant and sports bar facility with a pro football theme to tie into the nearby Pro Football Hall of Fame.
City and county officials will be on hand for the festivities. Jack Johnson, Boy Scouts of America, Buckeye Council executive, will discuss the agreement reached between the Boy Scouts and Corna regarding a Boy Scout headquarters site.
Kokolari, operator of seven northeast Ohio restaurants, will display his culinary expertise, preparing dishes that he will feature in The Stables restaurant.
Corna was the visionary behind the acquisition and development of Nautica and several other entertainment facilities in Cleveland's wildly successful Flats district.
"We believe that this is a project destined to succeed," Corna said, "because of its ideal location and instantly recognizable structure."
