The products include AVG Email Server Edition 7.5 for Linux/FreeBSD now with integrated anti-spam as well as new products for the GNU/Linux platform - AVG Anti-Virus Professional Edition 7.5 for Linux/FreeBSD and AVG File Server Edition 7.5 for Linux/Free BSD. This release strengthens GRISOFT's commitment to alternative operating systems including support for FreeBSD.

AVG File Server Edition 7.5 for Linux/FreeBSD offers antivirus protection of data stored on file servers in a heterogeneous environment. AVG Anti-Virus Professional Edition 7.5 for Linux/FreeBSD offers professional antivirus protection for workstations running alternative operating systems.

AVG security products for GNU/Linux and FreeBSD even provide high performance on older PCs and servers because of their minimal hardware requirements such as Intel Pentium 200 MHz and 256 MB of system memory. Installation packages of new AVG products are available for FreeBSD and most Linux distributions including RedHat, Suse, Debian and Mandriva.

AVG File Server Edition 7.5 for Linux/FreeBSD is priced at $307 and includes 50 concurrent connections to the server. All pricing comes with a two-year license and free technical support.
