GREEK FOOD FESTIVAL OFFERS TASTE OF CULTURE.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER -- Mousaka, baklava and gyros, along with Greek music and dancing, are part of the annual Greek Food Festival today at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. Sponsored by St. Constantine and Helens Greek Orthodox Church Greek Orthodox Church Independent Eastern Orthodox church of Greece. The term is sometimes used erroneously for Eastern Orthodoxy in general. It remained under the patriarch of Constantinople until 1833, when it became independent. in Lancaster, the festival runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the fairgrounds, 2551 W. Ave. H. Admission is free. Parking is $3. Entertainment will start at 11:30 a.m., with youth folk dancers performing at 12:30, 2, 4:30 and 6 p.m. Festival visitors can join in for dance lessons at 1, 2:30 and 5 p.m. The main food line will sell dishes that include marinated Greek lamb chops, dolma dol·ma n. pl. dol·mas or dol·ma·des A fruit or vegetable, especially a grape leaf or cabbage leaf, cooked with a filling of ground meat, herbs, or rice.
