 PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER OF KTSP-TV
 CINCINNATI, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- John P. Zanotti, president of the Television Group of Great American Broadcasting Company today announced the promotion of Ronald Bergamo, from vice president and general manager to president and general manager of KTSP-TV, Phoenix, Ariz.
 "Under Ron Bergamo's leadership, KTSP is making great strides in two areas: broadcasting news and other programming which meet the needs of our viewers, and delivering the kinds of audiences that our advertisers want to reach. This promotion reflects the scope of responsibilities that Ron has assumed as the chief operating officer for KTSP-TV."
 Bergamo, a native of Phoenix, has been vice president and general manager of KTSP-TV since November 1988. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of KWCH-TV, Wichita, Kan., from February 1983 to 1988. He started his career in 1966 with Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago and has since worked in sales and management capacities at Avco TV Sales and NBC Network in Chicago; KMBC-TV, Kansas City; WFAA-TV, Dallas; and KDFM-TV, Beaumont, Texas.
 In addition to KTSP-TV, Great American Broadcasting Company owns four network affiliated television stations: WTSP, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla., WKRC-TV, Cincinnati, WDAF-TV, Kansas City, Mo., and WBRC-TV, Birmingham, Ala. The company has announced its pending acquisition of WGHP-TV, High Point, N.C. Great American also owns 12 FM and six AM radio stations in the nation's top 50 markets.
 Great American Broadcasting Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Communications Company (NASDAQ: GACC). GACC's common stock trades over-the-counter under the symbol GACC.
