 GRAY NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING FOR NORWEST COMMUNITY BANKING
 MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 24, 1992 -- Cynthia J. Gray has been named vice president of marketing for Norwest Corporation's (NYSE: NOB) Community Banking system effective today.
 Gray is responsible for advertising, product development, market research and sales development for Norwest's 338 Community Banking locations in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
 "Cindy brings to Norwest a wealth of experience in all aspects of marketing," said Les Biller, Norwest executive vice president for Community Banking. "I am sure she will make a major contribution to our marketing programs."
 Gray was senior vice president and director of advertising, franchise and deposit product management for Los Angeles-based Security Pacific National Bank. She joined Security Pacific in 1973 as a branch management trainee and held various positions in personnel and product management before being named director of marketing and product management in 1990.
 Gray holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. A native of St. Louis, Mo., she later moved with her family to Minnesota, where she graduated from Edina High School.
