GRAPHIC'S IPD PRINTING & DISTRIBUTING ACQUIRES EQUIFAX SUPPLY SERVICE CENTER

 ATLANTA, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Graphic Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRPH) today announced that its subsidiary, IPD Printing & Distributing, Inc. of Atlanta, has acquired the assets of the Equifax Supply Service Center, a division of Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX), in a cash transaction.
 Terms were not disclosed.
 Mark C. Pope III, chairman and chief executive officer of Graphic, said that IPD and Equifax have also agreed to an arrangement for IPD to provide all the printing and warehousing activities previously performed by the acquired Equifax division. In addition, IPD will supply all process color printing for Equifax.
 Donald F. Walsh, Equifax senior vice president, said, "We are confident that this arrangement will result in a more efficient means of Equifax obtaining quality printing services from a company that is expert in its field."
 IPD will retain the Equifax employees at the in-house service center, according to Tom E. Jack, president of IPD. "By retaining the employees, IPD will have a special understanding of Equifax's printing needs," he said.
 Equifax is the leading provider of information for consumer financial transactions with offices throughout the United States, Canada and in Europe.
 Graphic Industries, Inc., a leading national full-service graphics communications company, ranked 16th in sales among commercial printing companies in North America in 1992.
