Campbell Soup Co. announced David W. Johnson will continue to serve as chairman of its board until the end of 1999. Originally, Johnson was scheduled to leave the post and current President and CEO Dale Morrison was to take over. The power shift is now postponed for another year. Fresh Foods, Inc., Claremont, N.C., expanded its board of directors and named three foodservice industry leaders: William P. Foley II, chairman and CEO of CKE Restaurants, Inc.; L. Dent Miller, president of Claremont Restaurant Group, LLC, which is the Fresh Foods subsidiary that owns and operates its restaurants; and Andrew F. Puzder, executive vice president and general counsel of CKE Restaurants. Fresh Foods Inc. was previously known as WSMP, Inc. Luby's Cafeterias, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is reorganizing its senior executive management team and will eliminate the position of executive vice president, a position currently held by William E. Robson. Koo Koo Roo, Inc., Los Angeles, elected Ann Graham Ehringer to its board and announced Don Wohl resigned from its board. Todhunter Imports, Ltd., West Palm Beach, Fla., appointed William Roy Edwards to director of European Markets. Previously, Edwards helped guide Bacardi International's growth in Europe over the past two decades. Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich., promoted John H. Bolt to corporate vice president and appointed John L. Forbis as corporate vice resident, global convenience foods innovation. Bolt previously was corporate treasurer; Forbis crossed over from Campbell Soup Co. GB Foods Corp., Anaheim, Calif., hired Ted Abajian as executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Gary R. Nelson, who will continue as treasurer. Triarc Restaurant Group, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., franchiser of the Arby's and T.J. Cinnamons brands, promoted John T.A. Vanderslice to senior vice president of T.J. Cinnamons. Casa Ole Restaurants, Inc., Houston, tapped Curt Glowacki, to the position of president and chief operating officer. Casa Ole Restaurants operates and franchises 81 Mexican restaurants across the United States. James D. Hope was named executive vice president of Sysco Food Services of Kansas City, Inc., a SYSCO Corp. subsidiary located in Olathe, Kan. Separately, Ken Carrig joined SYSCO Corp., Houston, as vice president and chief administrative officer. Vermont Pure Holdings Ltd. Randolph, Vt., named President and Chief Executive Timothy G. Fallon to the additional position of chairman. Fallon replaces Frank McDougall, who will remain a director and chair the executive committee. Bill Vass, executive vice president of Publix Super Markets, Inc., Lakeland, Fla., plans to retire at the end of September. Restaurant industry veteran Ralph Kitchen joins Apple South, Madison, Ga., as executive vice president of operations. Apple South has four core brands that are organized through decentralized, entrepreneurial divisions, including Canyon Cafe, Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchen, Hops Restaurant Bar & Brewery and McCormick & Schmick's. All American Food Group, Inc., South Plainfield, N.J., hired Robert Bagnell, formerly of Boston Market Restaurants, to fill its vacancy as CFO. Bagnell is an experienced food service executive with broad experience including positions with Price Waterhouse and Pizza Hut prior to joining Boston Market in 1994.
