GRAPEFRUIT AS MAIN INGREDIENT HELPS SHAKE UP YOUR MORNINGS.

 combines the flavor of grapefruit juice with a blend of fruits, honey and yogurt. Pop the ingredients into a blender and whirl ... and enjoy.

2 red grapefruit

1 cup peeled and diced ripe mango mango (măng`gō), evergreen tree of the Anacardiaceae (sumac family), native to tropical E Asia and now grown in both hemispheres. The chief species, Mangifera indica, is believed to have been cultivated for about 6,000 years.  OR peach

1 medium banana, cut up

8 ounces peach yogurt

2 to 3 tablespoons honey

1 cup crushed ice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Thin slice of grapefruit, quartered for garnish

Juice 2 grapefruit to get 1 1/3 cups juice. In a blender jar, combine grapefruit juice with mango, banana, yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, ice and vanilla; whirl until smooth. Sweeten sweet·en

 with additional honey, if desired, and garnish with grapefruit slice. Makes 4 (8-ounce) servings.

GRAPEFRUIT SUNRISER

2 grapefruit

8 large strawberries, fresh OR frozen

2 ripe medium bananas, peeled and cut into chunks

8 ounces strawberry-banana yogurt

2 tablespoons honey

1 cup crushed ice

Juice grapefruit to get 1 1/3 cups juice. In an electric blender combine juice with all remaining ingredients and whirl until smooth. Garnish with additional whole strawberries. Makes 4 (8-ounce) servings.
