GRAND OPENING OF SEPTA'S COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTER FOR THE FRANKFORD
ELEVATED RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (FERP) AT 10 A.M. TOMORROW
Event: Grand opening of SEPTA's Community Information Center for
the Frankford Elevated Reconstruction Project (FERP).
 Date: Tuesday, Sept. 1.
 Time: 10 a.m.
Place: FERP Community Information Center, 4633 Frankford Ave.,
 beneath the Market-Frankford Line Margaret-Orthodox
 Station.
 Details:
SEPTA General Manager Louis J. Gambaccini will mark the grand opening of the Community Information Center for the Frankford Elevated Reconstruction Project (FERP) when he unveils the building's sign.
The new center will be open for the next two-and-a-half years as SEPTA replaces the deck, track, signal and power systems of the Frankford Elevated between Church and Dyre Streets. "Because of the heavy construction and its close proximity to residents and businesses, we felt it was imperative to have a center like this where people could come to get up-to-date information about the project and how it will impact their lives," explained FERP Community Relations Coordinator Tom Nuxoll.
Nuxoll, along with a representative from SEPTA's prime contractor and Community Coordinator Ed Bocchinfuso of the Frankford Elevated Reconstruction Advisory Council (FERAC) will be among those to staff the center which will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to visiting the center, concerned residents and business owners may call the center at 215-288-3484.
