The 18th annual celebration of Nickelodeon viewers' favorites in entertainment added another trophy to Oscar winner Jamie Foxx's well- stocked case, this one an orange blimp blimp: see airship.  in honor of his outstanding ``hidden talent.'' His eye-crossing-and-shifting skill dazzled viewers even more than Cameron Diaz's egg Latin fluency or Jessica Alba's double-jointed thumb.

Some 10,000 noisy kids and parents at Pauley Pavilion Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion, informally and commonly known as Pauley Pavilion, is an indoor arena located on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California. It is home to the UCLA Bruins men's and women's basketball teams. The men's and women's volleyball teams also play here.  for Saturday's live telecast were thrilled that ``American Idol'' won the favorite TV show award and to see host Ryan Seacrest Ryan Seacrest (born December 24, 1974) is an American radio and television personality. Seacrest is also a former children's game show host, who gained prominence as the host of the reality television amateur-search series American Idol.  and judges Randy Jackson This article is about the American Idol judge. For the former member of The Jacksons, see Randy Jackson (musician). For other uses, see Randy Jackson (disambiguation).

, Paula Abdul Paula Julie Abdul (born June 19, 1962) is an American multi-platinum selling Grammy Award-winning singer, dancer, television personality, jewelry designer, and Emmy Award-winning choreographer.  and Simon Cowell Simon Cowell (born 7 October, 1959) is a British artist and repertoire ("A&R") executive for Sony BMG in the United Kingdom and a television producer, more commonly known as a judge on television programmes such as Pop Idol, The X Factor, American Idol  in person. Seacrest thanked the kids ``for including the elderly in their votes.'' But whatever the notoriously harsh Cowell had to say was drowned out by loud boos.

Queen Latifah accepted the role model ``wannabe'' award, which acknowledged her work on behalf of children's charities as much as her success as a recording artist and movie actress.

``I got a blimp!'' she said with delight. ``Thank you so much for letting me do what I do for a living.''

The favorite movie was ``The Incredibles,'' the favorite book was the set Lemony Snicket's ``A Series of Unfortunate Events,'' and the favorite cartoon was ``SpongeBob SquarePants.''

The favorite movie actor was Adam Sandler, who looked like a kid himself in baggy shorts, sneakers sneakers

, a T-shirt and a ball cap. The favorite movie actress was Hilary Duff, whose competitors included gossip-mag rival Lindsay Lohan.

``Two years in a row! Awesome!'' Duff squealed.

The favorite TV actor and actress were Romeo, who stars in a self-titled Nick sitcom, and Raven-Symone, star of Disney's ``That's So Raven That's So Raven is an American Emmy Award-nominated[1] sitcom television series broadcast on the Disney Channel. The plot revolves around teenager Raven Baxter and her schemes to get herself, her friends, Eddie and Chelsea, and family members such as her brother .'' The favorite female singer was Avril Lavigne, and Green Day picked up a blimp to go with its Grammys as winner of favorite group.

Usher, voted favorite male singer, was one of several winners who took a moment at the podium to teach the young viewers a life lesson.

``Listen to your parents,'' he said. ``Say your prayers, eat your vitamins.''

Will Smith, who opened the show with a cut from his ``Lost and Found'' CD, took it further when he accepted the honor for favorite animated voice in a movie for ``Shark Tale.''

``The key to life is running and reading,'' he said, explaining that running teaches us not to quit when things get tough. As for reading, he said, ``There's no problem (through history) that hasn't been solved and written about in a book. I'm up here now because I run and I read.''

Presenter Will Ferrell was the first to get slimy, and rock band Simple Plan messed up the joint even more after playing their hit ``Shut Up,'' as their electric guitars spewed green slime over the kids in the mosh pit in front of the stage.

In a remote broadcast from a Los Angeles park, human cannonball David Smith Jr. was launched into a net coated with green slime, which sprayed nicely on impact.

If there were a fish-out-of-water award, it might have been shared by host Ben Stiller and Johnny Depp, who was the celebrity designated to be hit with a bucket of slime at the show's end. Not much of Stiller's humor worked for the young audience, least of all his ``Rastafarian space bear'' costume. While Depp accepted the slime attack with grace, he did not seem to enjoy it as much as past honorees such as Jim Carrey and Tom Cruise.
