``It's great fun but more satisfying because we hadn't been playing well,'' White said. ``We just seemed to jell and pick each other up during the tournament. We had one really strong player - our captain, Darrin Schneider - and he set the tone while the rest chipped in.''

White said the comeback win helped ease the sting of last year, when his Highlanders were the midway leader before being caught in the final round by Chatsworth, which won its first City title.

``For many kids this is a dream come true,'' Granada Hills coach Joe White said. ``We feel a little redemption.''

Patrick Stewart's 79 led Chatsworth, while Scott Brokaw (80), Kay Lee (81), Marco Evans (83), Scott Johnston (87) and J. McIntire (85) completed the Chancellors' final-round effort.
