 Inc. today announced that through the GPU Foundation it will contribute $100,000 to support families affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks.

, September 11th Fund The September 11th Fund was created by the New York Community Trust [1] and the United Way of New York City[2] in response to the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001.  and the Power of America Fund.

The GPU Foundation, the organization through which GPU makes many of its charitable and community contributions, will match employee contributions in support of the victims' families, up to its total commitment of $100,000. Employee contributions of $50 to $500, made to the charities of their choice, will be matched by GPU with the matching contributions going to one of the four organizations named above.
