GPU Energy Incentives Point the Way For Converting to New Traffic Signal Technology.


MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1999-- Municipalities, counties and cities across GPU GPU: see secret police.

 Energy's New Jersey service territory, as well as the state, can gain cash rebates by switching to new LED (Light Emitting Diode See LED. ) Traffic Lights. GPU Energy is offering rebates of up to $50 per individual signal for installation or retrofitting with LEDs.

Signals with this new LED technology last years longer than the original incandescents, have reduced maintenance cycles and have a seven-year life span and warranty.

In order to promote this technology, GPU Energy is offering cash incentives to help offset the installation cost of these easy-to-install LED signals. Rebates include $35 for each eight-inch and $50 for each 12-inch traffic signal installation or retrofit ret·ro·fit
