GPU Energy Announces Zadroga as GPU Volunteer of the Year for New Jersey.


MORRISTOWN, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--

Kevin Zadroga has been named The Hank Mayer Award Winner as the GPU GPU: see secret police.

Zadroga, in his career to date, personally answered more than 3,000 rescue calls where he works, lives and volunteers, with more than 300 of them concerning GPU employees and their families. In 1998, Zadroga logged 850 hours of volunteer time.

Zadroga was selected from a group of six employee volunteers in New Jersey who combined for more than 2,257 hours of community service.

The Hank Mayer Award is named for a former GPU Nuclear Director of Government Affairs at Oyster Creek who devoted a lifetime of service to many civic and professional organizations in Ocean County, NJ.
