The PCSS simulates the operation of key plant equipment and systems, allowing control room trainees to practice job skills in a safe training environment. In this instance, implementation of the simulator training platform enables greater student throughput, while significantly enhancing the fidelity of control room operator training in both normal and non-normal scenarios." Because of the improvements in simulation technology and the expertise of the GP trainers, the high level of performance at the operating sites has been enhanced.
