The term vacate has two common usages in the law. With respect to real property, to vacate the premises means to give up possession of the property and leave the area totally devoid of contents. our offices and turn the keys and coffee pots over to any responsible group with a reasonable offer,'' said Sneed. ``This neighborhood will be in such a state of intense political and communications activity -- and partying -- that we're not likely to get a lot of work done anyway. We'd be happy if the Republican convention somehow stimulated some income for our 13 employees.'' Hence the office deal.
