LIGHT AND CREAMY: Tasters were jazzed to get this scoop -- Haagen-Dazs has added seven new flavors to its Light ice cream line. And they were even more enthused to sample several. They have 50 percent less fat and one-third fewer calories than their regular, higher-fat counterparts -- and are luscious and creamy. All of the flavors -- Cookie Dough, Vanilla Caramel Brownie, Dutch Chocolate Chip, Caramel Cone, Blueberry blueberry, plant of the large genus Vaccinium, widely distributed shrubs (occasionally small trees) of the family Ericaceae (heath family), usually found on acid soil. They are often confused with the related huckleberry.  Cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookies & Cream -- have fans, but among the favorites were Caramel Cone, Dutch Chocolate Chip and Blueberry Cheesecake. Per 1/2-cup serving, calories range from 210 to 250, with fat from 5 to 8 grams. The suggested retail price is $3.69 per pint. You won't miss the high-fat flavors once you taste these.
