LIME VODKA

Smirnoff Lime flavored vodka has joined the Smirnoff Vodka portfolio which includes nine other flavors among them Raspberry, Orange, Green Apple and Black Cherry. The new Lime has a crisp, bright, refreshing and smooth taste with the tang of sour lime juice. It's available in 50-, 200-, 375- and 750-milliliter sizes as well as 1-liter and 1.75-liter bottles. Suggested retail of a 750-milliliter bottle is $12.99.

NEW SMOOTHIE MAKERSC&W Frozen Foods just debuted a new line of Fruit & Yogurt Smoothie Makers containing ripe, frozen fruit and nonfat yogurt. They are available in 12-ounce bags in four flavors - Berry Blend, Peach, Strawberry Banana and Tropical Blend. They were designed to simplify the smoothie-making process at home - and are easy enough for kids to make.

Simply pour the contents of the bag straight from the freezer into a blender, add 1 1/2 cups orange or apple juice and blend two to three minutes. Each bag (prepared with juice) makes 24 ounces (3 cups) - and about three servings, with 140 to 150 calories per 1-cup serving.

Look for them in the freezer section at Ralphs or Albertsons with a suggested retail price of $2.99 each.

STARS Of THE FOOD NETWORK

The second season of the ``Next Food Network Star'' premieres at 9 p.m. Sunday. The first season of the ``Star'' program was one of the highest-rated, most-watched prime-time series in the Food Network's history.

Among the eight finalists competing in the second season are six from California, including two from Los Angeles - Nathan Lyon, 35, a line cook and personal chef - and Reggie Southerland, a self-taught baker. The ultimate winner will be determined by voting and text messaging (April 16-19) by Food Network viewers - and will win a six-episode show that will premiere in June.
