It's time It's Time was a successful political campaign run by the Australian Labor Party (ALP) under Gough Whitlam at the 1972 election in Australia. Campaigning on the perceived need for change after 23 years of conservative (Liberal Party of Australia) government, Labor put forward a  to start cooking up those original entries for the 42nd Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest. The grand prize is $1 million. The contest finals will take place March 18-21, 2006, at the Fontainebleu Resort in Miami. Recipes will be judged on taste, appearance, creativity and consumer appeal.

Two new recipe categories are included among the six this year - Cooking for Two (for small households) and Brand New You (reflecting healthier eating). Others categories include Dinner Made Easy, Wake Up to Breakfast, Simple Snacks and Weekends Made Special. Each recipe must include two eligible products (from a list of more than 65).

Also new will be awards for a recipe highlighting dairy and another for a Hispanic-inspired creation. The public will also have a chance to judge the 100 finalists' entries, with online voting to pick America's Favorite Recipe Award (a $10,000 prize).

Mailed entries must be postmarked on or before May 31 and received before midnight June 3. Electronic entries must be received by May 31.
