HIDEABLES FOR EASTER: Just in time for Easter egg An undocumented function hidden in software that may or may not be sanctioned by management. Easter Eggs are secret "goodies" found by word of mouth or accident. They are also used in video games, movies, TV commercials, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs and every so often in hardware.  hunts, Nestle has introduced Hideables, boxes of self-standing color cardboard cutouts of bunnies, chicks and ducklings filled with a couple of pieces of candy that are ready to hide. The Hideables would also make cute party favors, table place cards for Easter brunch or dinner or other themed parties or a special lunch box treat.

Each box contains eight assorted animal cutouts and comes in three candy varieties - Nestle Crunch, Butterfinger and a Wonka assortment of Laffy Taffy Taffy

, Sweetarts Chews, Runts Runts (also known as Fruit Runts) are candies sold by Nestlé under their Willy Wonka Candy Company brand. First seen on the market in 1982, they are fruit flavored candies in the shape of their respective fruits.  and Nerds. The idea is novel, but for some it may take the excitement and fun out of the hunt. These would be good mixed with other hidden items (like real eggs or plastic ones filled with money or other surprises).

The candy in the Hideables seemed a bit skimpy skimp·y

WIN $50,000 IN BEEF COOK-OFF: Show-off your beef recipe expertise by entering the 26th annual National Beef Cook-Off. Twenty national finalists will be selected to compete in September for the $50,000 grand prize in Rapid City, S.D. Category winners will each receive $10,000.

The four recipe categories this year are Beef Market Basket, Grilled Beef, Family Favorites and Inspired by Beef Recipes.
