FEAST OF SAN GENNARO The Feast of San Gennaro, originally a one-day religious commemoration, is now an 11-day street fair beginning on the second Thursday in September in the Little Italy area of Manhattan as an annual celebration of Italian culture and the Italian-American community. The Feast of San Gennaro, featuring Italian food, rides, games and entertainment, will be held 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday, on The Grove Drive (between Beverly Drive and Third Street) at the Grove/Farmers Market. Food from more than 50 Italian restaurants along with Italian wines will be available. Admission is free but there will be a charge for food and wine.
