Giving impetus to Pasadena's Restaurant Halie is its new executive chef, Claude Beltran.

Beltran, who joined Halie earlier this year, gained a modicum of fame with his stints at Dickenson West and Cayo, also in Pasadena.

His menu of New American cuisine New American cuisine a term for upscale, contemporary cooking served primarily in restaurants in the United States.
