GOOD TASTE.

COOKBOOK

With the holidays often comes dinner-party entertaining. If you're planning to host a party this year and are anxiety-ridden about the menu and recipes, pick up a copy of ``Dinner for Eight,'' by Denise Landis (St. Martin's St. Martin's or St. Martins may refer to:

``It is possible to host a dinner party and have time to spend with your guests,'' she writes. ``How? By choosing a menu carefully and planning ahead.''

Each menu includes a finger-food hors d'oeuvre, along with a first course, main course and accompaniment, and dessert. For one fall menu, she offers, Hummus hum·mus also hum·us or hom·mos

PASSION FRUIT RUM

Allied Dome recently introduced Malibu Passion Fruit Caribbean Rum, which is great in cocktails like martinis, mojitos, pina coladas, daiquiris and more. You can also use it to jazz up fruit desserts. Soak strawberries, raspberries, kiwi or other fresh fruits in it and spoon over ice cream or pound cake slices. The product joins other flavors in the Malibu rum line - pineapple, mango and coconut. Personally I'm partial to the coconut - it tastes great and makes fabulous libations. Look for the new flavor at liquor and grocery stores, with a suggested price of $17 per 750-milliliter bottle and $21 per 1-liter bottle.

HOLIDAY SNAPPLE FLAVORS

Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages (CSAB) is a unit of Cadbury Schweppes plc that handles its parent's core United States beverage business. It is the largest division of Cadbury Schweppes.

You can enjoy the drinks hot or cold. Whip up a batch of pie a la mode with them by heating either flavor in a microwave-safe glass for one minute. Then top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Drizzle with caramel, if desired and serve with a spoon.
