The presenter greeted fans including the former producer of The Tube TV show, Geoff Wonfor, and his grandson, Fred, two.

Geoff's late wife, Andrea, played a key role in Evans' career. When head of arts and entertainment at Channel Four, she gave him his first major break on the Big Breakfast show in 1992.
