LAKE ELSINORE - Despite a starting staff that's fallen into disarray and a defense that's been at best inconsistent, the JetHawks have gotten by with the California League's most productive offense.

But given the lofty expectations coming into the season, the JetHawks were supposed to do more than just get by.
