GOLF NOTEBOOK: QUARTZ HILL TAKES NEXT STEP.Byline: Dave Shelburne Staff Writer Golden League individual champion Ali Erdman led three-time league team champion Quartz Hill into the first round of the Southern Section team playoffs Tuesday at River Ridge River Ridge is the name of more than one location.
Quartz Hill, making its fifth consecutive appearance in the team playoffs, was one of eight league champions playing in the Northern Regional at River Ridge, which played to 5,362 yards and par 72 for the 20-team field of 119 players.
