The Hart High of Newhall and Pepperdine product has tendinitis in his left elbow and isn't swinging a club.

Last year, Gore won over fans with his run at the U.S. Open, in which he played in the final twosome with Retief Goosen.

But Gore heard a pop in his elbow last week during the second round of the Colonial. He was forced to withdraw from the tournament.

Gore was examined by Dr.Lewis Yocum and diagnosed with lateral epicondylitis lateral epicondylitis Tennis elbow, see there , more commonly known as tennis elbow tennis elbow - overuse strain injury .

``They're doing all they can do,'' said Ralph Cross, Gore's agent. ``With this type of thing, he'll tell you, he can feel good in a day or a week or it might be six months.''
