GOLDEN GLOBES CEREMONY HELPS LAND NBC IN TOP SPOT.

Add another Golden Globe winner to the list: NBC NBC
 in full National Broadcasting Co.

Major U.S. commercial broadcasting company. It was formed in 1926 by RCA Corp., General Electric Co. (GE), and Westinghouse and was the first U.S. company to operate a broadcast network.
. The award show contributed to the network's dominance in the weekly ratings and its second consecutive first-place showing.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association ceremony - which offered a rich mix of movie and television stars in a party mood - attracted a total of 24.3 million viewers Sunday night Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, was an NBC late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists. , NBC said Tuesday.

For the week of Jan. 12, the ceremony ranked fifth among all programs, bested only by the steel-plated Thursday night NBC lineup of ``ER,'' ``Seinfeld,'' ``Veronica's Closet'' and ``Friends.''
