GOD BLESS THEM; Funeral for three children killed in house fire.

A TEENAGE boy - his coffin decked out in the colours of Manchester City - was buried alongside his sister and stepbrother yesterday.

Blues fan Jordan Swift, 14, his sister Carly, 19 and eightyear-old stepbrother John Hargreaves all died in a blaze at their home in July.

Their devastated mother Susan Owen, 36, led hundreds of mourners at an emotional service at Manchester Cathedral. She was comforted by her five other children who managed to escape the blaze in Openshaw in the city.

Ashley, 17, Louis, 11, Connor, nine, Alice, five, and Reece, three, wore Man City shirts emblazoned with their siblings' names, while other mourners wore hoodies bearing their pictures and names.

Susan left moving messages on cards for each of the victims. On John's she wrote: "My lovely son, I will miss you forever."

Another read: "For my darling daughter Carly. Good night, God bless. Love you and miss you always, Mum."

And to Jordan she wrote: "To my son, Jordan, may the angels always take care of you. Always loved, Mum." The funeral was followed by a private burial.

A Man City spokesman said: "The Club extends our deepest sympathy to the Swift family."

Carly, a student, died after she tried to rescue Jordan and John. John's dad Kevin Hargreaves, 37, was charged with their murder and remanded. He is due in court in January.
