Gerry's big bill confession sparked a huge reaction from his listeners yesterday.

He added: "One guy came on the show who was only away for a couple of days and he ended up with a EUR2,000 bill.

"It's very confusing. We need some advice on these things because nobody seems to know exactly what they are getting charged when they are roaming on their mobiles."
