Athletic made it six wins out of eight this season - and they've been ahead at half-time in just one of those games.

Gilfillan, who tapped home the winner in 75 minutes, insists that's no coincidence.

Hesaid: "We always seem to steamroller teams in the last half an hour and have a habit of scoring late goals.I think it's because of howfit weare.

"Our home form is strong so if we can start picking up a few away wins we can definitely finish in the top four."

Annan boss Derek Townsley said:"We have fewer resources than other teams so need to make up for that with workrate.

"It's a fit group of boys who give you everything and that paid off in the end."
