It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla.  Store Online and toysmart.com, enjoyed a strong 1999 holiday gift-buying season, with collective sales of more than three times the same period last year.

"GO.com's commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction was a critical factor in our growth this holiday season," said Russ Gillam, senior vice president, e-commerce e-commerce, commerce conducted over the Internet, most often via the World Wide Web. E-commerce can apply to purchases made through the Web or to business-to-business activities such as inventory transfers. , for GO.com. "The extension of our order deadlines was a testament to our ability to meet the growing demands of online shoppers, and we look forward to continuing this trend in the new year."

Other highlights:
-- DisneyStore.com, thanks to its stellar customer service and
fulfillment capabilities, was able to extend its order deadline
to Dec. 22 at a time when many online merchants were struggling
to deliver gifts on time. During December, DisneyStore.com's
customer service call center handled tens of thousands of
incoming calls per day, and during the peak shopping period of
Dec. 19-21, when calls increased by 500%, more than 97% of
DisneyStore.com's incoming calls were answered in 20 seconds or
less. In an extension of DisneyStore.com's commitment to making
online shopping easy and convenient, shoppers can process returns
via the U.S. Mail, and also at brick-and-mortar Disney Stores
     throughout North America.

-- Traffic to the GO Shopping service doubled this holiday season.
GO Shopping offers more than four million products from hundreds
of top-quality merchants and helps shoppers find the lowest price
     on every item.

-- The top-selling item on ESPNStore.com during December was the New
York Times' best seller "ESPN Sports Century" book, a success
that showcases the strong cross-promotional leverage between
online sales and the cable network.

-- toysmart.com, a leading online seller of high-quality toys in
which GO.com has a majority stake, was the second-highest gainer
in terms of unique visitors for the week ended Dec. 12,
according to Media Metrix. toysmart.com earned four and half
stars (out of five) in the ease-of-order, on-time delivery,
shipping and handling, and product representation categories,
according to a survey of more than 30,000 customers by
BizRate.com, an independent ratings service focused on evaluating
     online stores using shoppers' feedback.
