HENRY McLeish Henry McLeish (b. June 15 1948, Methil, Fife, Scotland) is a Scottish politician. He served as the second First Minister of Scotland from 2000 to November 8 2001, following the sudden death of Donald Dewar.  will today fight for his political life.

This morning he faces critics in Parliament who say he should quit over his pounds 36,000 expenses row.
