GO EAT... COURGETTES.


COURGETTES are a great food for people who are trying to lose weight because (provided you don''t cook them in oil) they are very low in calories.

They supply some of the antioxidant antioxidant, substance that prevents or slows the breakdown of another substance by oxygen. Synthetic and natural antioxidants are used to slow the deterioration of gasoline and rubber, and such antioxidants as vitamin C (ascorbic acid), butylated hydroxytoluene  betacarotene, which is converted into vitamin A vitamin A

Slice and use raw for crudities or in salads, or use in them soups.

Buy them when firm and brightly coloured and not rubbery.

Dull-looking skin usually implies they were picked a while ago.
