GO: THEATRE: STAGE WHISPERS.


CATCH the Playbox Theatre's new adaptation of Oedipus as part of the Warwick Festival 2003. Sophocles' Oedipus is a tragedy of destiny by Playbox Theatre's literary associate, Paul Wignall.

It will run from Wednesday to July 12, nightly at 7.30pm. Tickets are pounds 9, (pounds 6 concessions). Phone 01926 419555.

A MIDSUMMER'S evening will be held at Hall's Croft, Old Town in Stratford, on Sunday at 7pm.

LADIES' Night tells of a group of unemployed men who decide there must be more to life than the weekly giro and daytime TV. They form an act called The Raging Rhinos, which can only be described as more comic than seductive.

THE THRILLER Sweet Revenge is at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from Tuesday to Saturday.

TRANSMISSIONS is a festival of young writers which runs at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre Birmingham Repertory Theatre (commonly called Birmingham Rep or just The Rep) is a theatre and theatre company based on Centenary Square in Birmingham, England. It is one of the most influential companies in the history of the English Stage.  from Wednesday until July 12.

On Wednesday, work from five writers, aged 17 to 24, will be featured, followed by another four writers, aged 14 to 22, on July 5.
