GO: THE LIMIT: LEAVE YOUR NIGHT IN DESTINY'S HANDS.

Byline: Dayle Crutchlow

SPEAR Of Destiny's Kirk Brandon Kirk Brandon (born 3 August 1956, Westminster, London) is a British musician.

Brandon's music career started in 1978, in Clapham, South London, with the formation of The Pack, of which he was the singer/songwriter.
makes another of his regular visits to Coventry tonight. The band play the General Wolfe, in Foleshill Road and will no doubt attract the usual hardcore of devoted fans, but they're worth catching if you haven't seen them before.

Kirk's the only original member of the group but that shouldn't put you off. You'll Never Take Me Alive will always be a good song, Liberator will always bring back memories of Goth discos and Mickey will always be good for a sing-a-long.

Kirk seems to play Coventry in some shape or form every few months - he must like the people.

INDIE star Martin Grech leapt into the consciousness of music lovers when one of his tracks was used on the Lexus car advert.

It might not have been how he would have chosen to achieve recognition for his work, but he can't complain.

The 20-year-old was a relatively unknown when he was first booked to play the Colosseum Colosseum or Coliseum (both: kŏləsē`əm), Ital. Colosseo, common name of the Flavian Amphitheater in Rome, near the southeast end of the Forum, between the Palatine and Esquiline hills.  in Primrose Hill Coordinates:  Primrose Hill is a hill located on the north side of Regent's Park in north London, and also the name for the surrounding district. The hill has a clear view of central London.  Street last year but, since Open Heart Zoo was broadcast nationally as backing to the Lexus advert, interest in him soared.

He's back at the Coventry venue tomorrow and he's worth seeing. He shares the bill with American band Adom, who have relocated to Manchester and are now being hailed as "the best new band in Britain."

They caused controversy last year after burning their name into Elton John's tennis court in Atlanta. The band were promptly arrested but the megastar saw the funny side and dropped the charges. He then invited them to record in his US studios, an offer which they turned down. Cool.

Adom also play at Warwick University on Monday, along with Silverman, and then Nuneaton's Nags Head next Friday.

WELL-ESTABLISHED Coventry band The Four Kings stand out like a bedraggled colossus Colossus - (A huge and ancient statue on the Greek island of Rhodes).

.

They will be making a rare appearance at The Jailhouse in Coventry and offer an eclectic blend of melodic, powerful, dramatic rock and roll.

They were invited earlier this year to be the first British band to play at the "Athfest" music festival in Athens, Georgia and supported punk band Left Front Tire This articlearticle or section has multiple issues:

. Their performance safely secured them a place in the 2004 festival line-up.

The night looks set to be a busy one as the Four Kings will be joined by another of the Coventry 'big guns', Jesus Deluxe.

Able support is provided by popular young locals Kalena and Instone.

NUNEATON'S Nags Head boasts another top line-up tonight, headlined by local glam heroes Fiori. Also on the bill are songsmiths The Session and Outside Edge.
