THE Midlands Region of the Wildlife Art Society's 2002 Wildlife Art Exhibition is on at the Jane Powell art studio two, in High Street, Kenilworth, until September Until September is a 1984 romantic drama set in France. It stars Karen Allen as an American tourist in Paris who falls in love with a married Frenchman (Thierry Lhermitte). External links  11.

Several artists willl be on hand to talk about their work, and to demonstrate painting techniqjues.

You can also vote for your favourite work and a raffle will be held on behalf of the Tusk Trust.

PAINTINGS by Geoff Bateman are on display at the Museum of British Road Transport in Coventry from September 1-28.

Coventry Kid Geoff was a student at the Coventry School of Art in Lower Ford Street - now part of Coventry University.

He joined the RAF and served for five years on crash rescue.

He started painting again thanks to Coventry artist James Kessell and has had many exhibitions, including ones at Riversley Art Gallery in Nuneaton, Cox's Yard at Stratford, Talisman Theatre in Kenilworth and the Earl Street Showcase in Coventry.

Geoff loves the impressionists, Dutch genre paintings, Scottish colourists Bomberg, Stanley Spencer and Robert Bevan.

Mixed in with influences from these, you will also see in Geoff's pictures, his love of aviation, jazz, travel and BirminghaLOCAL artists speak on the theme of myths and legends Myths and Legends is a Collectible Card Game based on universal mythologies, developed in 2000 in Santiago, Chile.
