GMT Corp announced that it has extended GMT Planet's long-term forecasting and budgeting (LTFB) to cover a five-year timeframe.

GMT Planet, recently awarded "Best of Show" for workforce management at The Call Center & CRM Solutions show in Las Vegas, includes state of the art forecasting and budgeting that allows managers today to calculate their FTE (full-time equivalent) needs by skill as well as the direct and indirect payroll cost.

GMT Planet now allows managers to plan well in advance -- up to five years -- for hiring and budgeting. Many contact centers use this feature to create hiring and training plans for each year, eliminating last-minute hiring crunches. For outsourcers, however, the benefit is being able to accurately project long-term costs when they are pricing new contracts.
