GMAC Supports Online Credit Processing With Credit Connection.

Support of Electronic Credit Processing

Car and truck shoppers at select General Motors (GM) dealerships can now receive quicker financing approval thanks to Credit Connection(R), a new electronic credit processing system. ) to make GMAC financing available to dealerships through Credit Connection. As previously announced, ADP and CMSI have formed a strategic alliance to make Credit Connection available to automotive dealerships.

Under the terms of the agreement, more than 8,300 GM dealers will have the opportunity to use Credit Connection -- either integrated with ADP's dealer management system, or independently -- to significantly reduce the time to process consumer credit application information. The rapid response with Credit Connection speeds the buying process, improves customer satisfaction, and gives the dealer online credit data for better management of the customer credit relationship including support of finance, lease and balloon transactions.

Providing high-speed electronic links between dealerships and creditors, Credit Connection will enable GM dealers to send credit application information to GMAC's credit evaluation system online and in real-time for effective management of the consumer credit process. Credit Connection also enables appropriate dealership personnel to access and analyze credit bureau information using a customized software See custom software.  interface. Dealers can also monitor pending transactions in real-time either online or by integrating Credit Connection with ADP's F&I Advisor(TM), Sales Advisor(TM) and/or Sales Kiosk systems. ADP will integrate Credit Connection with ADP dealer management systems, or in a stand-alone client/server environment A networking environment that is made up of clients and servers running applications designed for client/server architecture.
