 Institutional Advisors announced today the acquisition of an apartment portfolio comprised of Ocean Crest Apartments and Ocean View Apartments, located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California Rancho Palos Verdes (RPV) is a city in Los Angeles County, California that was incorporated on September 7, 1973. The population was 41,145 at the 2000 census.

Rancho Palos Verdes is a quiet, affluent suburb of Los Angeles.
. The properties were acquired in joint venture with Pacific Property Company, Inc., a real estate investment firm based in Palo Alto Palo Alto, city, California

An affiliate of GMAC Institutional Advisors provided approximately $8,100,000 in equity and GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation (GMACCM) provided approximately $18,300,000 in floating-rate, interim, acquisition financing.

Ocean Crest and Ocean View Apartments, located at 6510 and 6507 Ocean Crest Drive, consist of two adjacent multifamily properties, containing a total of 90 units. The properties are situated in a coastal location, both with ocean views.

Ocean Crest Apartments, built in 1970, consists of a 33-unit, three-story apartment project, situated on 0.52 acres. Ocean View Apartments, built in 1973, consists of a 57-unit, three- and five-story apartment project, situated on 1.31 acres.
