GLOBAL EXPANDS ATLANTA OFFICE, HIRES REGIONAL DIRECTOR

 ATLANTA, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The national health care reinsurance firm, Global Excess Re, Inc., is expanding its Atlanta offices and has hired a new regional director.
 Suzanne Henbest joins Global from American Insurance Managers (AIM) in Atlanta where she served as underwriting supervisor for administration and underwriting functions.
 Henbest will head Global's Atlanta office and will report to the executive vice president at Global's Michigan headquarters.
 "We are extremely pleased to have someone of Suzanne's experience and abilities join our firm," said Vivien Pla, executive vice president of Global. "She will be a tremendous asset as we expand throughout the southeast."
 Global plans to continue its expansion in Atlanta and in several key territories around the country.
 Global Excess Re provides "stop-loss" health coverage for self- insured businesses throughout the United States. The Troy, Mich.-based corporation is represented by more than 100 TPA's (Third Party Administrators) in the U.S.
 Nearly 100 million American workers and their families are covered by self-funded health insurance plans.
