Byline: Sandra Barrera Staff Writer

ANAHEIM - Janet Jackson loves her fans. I mean, really.

Jackson groped the man, and slithered all over his confined body until the gurney fell horizontal.

The two-hour performance wasn't all naughty, though. Jackson was tough, playful and sentimental as she tapped into her grab bag grab bag

of pop and rock to R&B. She was sexy, strong and sweet in her midrifaring costumes that revealed more than her tattoo where they weren't clinging to her hard body.

Although her latest album, ``All for You'' fueled the concert, Jackson embraced her past. As the video for ``Let's Wait Awhile'' played on a giant screen, revealing a plumper Jackson falling in love amid the New York New York, state, United States

She performed a medley of ``What Have You Done For Me Lately,'' ``Control'' and ``Nasty.'' And she sang ``Miss You Much,'' ``When I Think of You'' and ``Escapade'' while dressed as a whimsical insect in a ``Bug's Life'' sort of fantasy land.

was in abundance. There was a street scene with a dancing church lady, police officer, wino, street thugs and pimped-out daddies, one of whom was Jackson. Kabuki-dancers backed her during the song ``If.'' She sang songs whose hooks borrowed from other artists: Joni Mitchell's ``Big Yellow Taxi'' for ``Got 'til It's Gone,'' America's ``Ventura Highway'' for ``Someone to Call My Lover'' and Carly Simon's ``You're So Vain'' for ``Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song is About You),'' the latter two of which are on her new album.

Also among the newer songs, Jackson performed ``Come On Get Up,'' ``All For You'' and ``You Ain't Right.'' There wasn't time for a whole lot of talking. But, occasionally, she addressed the audience. After the first few songs, Jackson paused for a moment to bask in the roar of her fans. People waved American flags. Some held up signs, professing their love for Jackson. She just beamed. ``It feels so good to be home,'' she said. ``I love you so much.'' And her fans love her.
