Now Kreuzberger, of Woodland Hills, is there for the Wellness Community, helping raise funds for the nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization An association that is given tax-free status. Last year, she received the Celebration of Life Award from the organization, which annually honors a cancer survivor who has gone far above and beyond the ordinary to help support others battling the disease. When she found out she had breast cancer, Kreuzberger, who is a nurse at Tarzana Regional Medical Center, wanted assistance outside the typical medical facility. She found it at the Wellness Community. There are relaxation and meditation classes for those battling cancer. Support groups are available for their family members. All classes and programs are free. ``It's a very up atmosphere,'' Kreuzberger said. ``You walk in and hear laughter and jokes.'' After beating breast cancer, Kruezberger immediately started helping the Wellness Community. She was there when the organization opened its facility 13 years ago at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village, in Ventura County. That office also serves the western San Fernando Valley. The organization has grown significantly during the past 15 years. Participants have increased from 150 in 1991 to more than 2,000 this year.
